Two New Members of Our Team

We are delighted to welcome two new fee earners to our Residential Property and Private Client departments.

Catherine Skelly is an experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegal with over 25 years in the industry. Catherine specialises in Residential Conveyancing and is currently studying for her CLC qualification.

David Smith is a very experienced senior Solicitor and our new Head of Private Client. David was admitted as a Solicitor in 2005 and specialises in Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Deputyship matters.

Foodbank Support

The Richmond Partnership has proudly served the local community for over 50 years. In the current economic climate, it’s more important than ever that we support our local community. We have chosen to do this by supporting our local foodbank, The Durham Christian Partnership (part of the Trussell Trust), which helps provide emergency food parcels for people facing hunger due to crisis through their 27 local distribution points. So far this year, we have donated nearly 130kgs of food and sanitary products to the collection points and we aim to increase that year on year to ensure that we continue to support members of our community in their time of need.

If you would be interested in helping us to support this amazing and worthwhile cause, you are welcome to drop off a donation at our offices and we will gladly take it to a collection point for you.

Conveyancing Quality Scheme

The Richmond Partnership is pleased to announce that the Property and Conveyancing Team is now fully using the new and updated version of the CQS logo. Clients and other parties will recognise the older version of the CQS logo from the firm’s letterhead and email signatures:

Mince Pies and Festivities!

On 14th December we took part in our own Christmas Jumper day, in support of St Bede’s Hospice in Gateshead, which is a cause very dear to our hearts.

Our talented staff and friends busied themselves cooking, baking, faking and cup-cake making to create a delicious selection of brownies, corned-beef pies, cupcakes and mince pies. All absolutely delicious!

The money raised will support St Bede’s in its vital work as the palliative care unit of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, caring for patients at various stages of their illness, providing symptom management, respite care and end-of-life care. It will help fund their amazing staff.

A huge thank you to all those who helped prepare for the event, and to all those who supported us yet again.

Macmillan Coffee Morning

Cake!

Our favourite thing, and all for a good cause.

On 29th September we took part in the Macmillan Coffee Morning. Hosting our own event, talented staff and friends busied themselves cooking, baking and cake decorating to create a delicious selection of brownies, sausage rolls, cupcakes and traybakes. All delicious!

The money raised will support Macmillan’s vital work, helping to fight this terrible disease which impacts the lives of so many. It will help fund their amazing Macmillan nurses, answer calls on their support line, give financial support, and much more.

A huge thank you to all those who helped prepare for the event, and to all those who supported us.
